Michael D. Insoft, DMD, PA

Dr. Insoft graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida School of Dentistry where he received his doctorate in medical dentistry in 1991. He remained at the university to complete his residency and received his specialty certificate in orthodontics in 1994. He is active in the community and in many professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association and will be president of the Pinellas County Dental Association in 2008. Dr. Insoft has been recognized by the American Board of Orthodontics and has been published in the American Journal of Orthodontics.

Dr. Insoft, his wife, Tammy, and their children, Brandon and Haley, reside in the St. Petersburg area. They enjoy boating and spending time with their children, whom are active in Tae Kwon Do and dance.

Rita Hurst, DMD, PhD

Dr. Hurst is the daughter of Drs. Nicolas and Thelma Maragos, and was born and raised in the St. Petersburg area. She was educated at Keswick Christian School and was valedictorian of the class of 1991. Dr. Hurst attended the University of South Florida where she received degrees in both Biology and Science Education. During her time at USF, Dr. Hurst was actively involved in numerous honor and social organizations, including Kappa Delta Sorority. In 1997, she took a leave from college to teach 7th grade math and science at McLane Middle School in Brandon, FL. The following year, Dr. Hurst enrolled at the University Of Louisville College Of Dentistry where she received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine as well as her Masters of Science in Oral Biology. She completed her orthodontic training in 2006 at the University Of Florida College Of Dentistry as well as her PhD in Biomedical Sciences through the College of Medicine.

Dr. Hurst and her husband, Gabriel, live in the Seminole area with their two children. In her free time, Dr. Hurst enjoys spending time with family and friends and traveling.

Thomas F. Kaineg, DDS, MS

Dr. Kaineg graduated magna cum laude from the University of Illinois Dental School in 1971. He completed all dental studies with the highest class ranking and received the prestigious Alpha Omega award. In 1994 the American Dental Association honored Dr. Kaineg for his international work in Russia with the All Children's Hospital cleft palate team.

In 1999 he worked in Peru with the bay area Rotocleft medical mission team donating his time and skills to treat underprivileged patients. Dr. Kaineg served as chairman of the Pinellas County Dental Health Program for over ten years. He was the 1999/2000 president of the Pinellas County Dental Association.

Dr. Kaineg enjoys fishing and diving. He and his wife Susan are active in the Seminole community. They have two grown children, Brian and Kristin.
