Certified Invisalign Provider in St. Petersburg & Seminole, FL
Invisalign takes a modern approach to straightening teeth, using a custom-made series of aligners created for you and only you. These aligner trays are made of smooth, comfortable, and a virtually invisible material that you wear over your teeth. The aligners will gradually and gently shift your teeth into place, based on the exact movements Dr. Insoft and Dr. Hurst prescribe for you. There are no metal brackets to attach and no wires to adjust or change out. You just pop in a new set of aligners every one to two weeks until your treatment is complete. You’ll achieve a great smile with little interference in your daily life. The best part about the whole process is that most people won't even know you're straightening your teeth!
What is Invisalign?
Invisalign uses a series of invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners that no one can tell you're wearing. So, you can smile more during treatment as well as after. Invisalign is made with 3D computer imaging technology and has been proven as effective as braces in the majority of orthodontic cases. Drs. Insoft and Hurst are certified to treat with Invisalign, and are two of the Top 1% of Invisalign providers in all of North America.
Treatment length with Invisalign varies depending on each patient’s individual needs, but it averages between 12 to 24 months. You’ll need to visit our Seminole or St. Petersburg orthodontic office every eight to 12 weeks so Drs. Insoft and Hurst can assess your treatment progress.
So, how do you know if Invisalign is right for you?
It is very rare that an orthodontic patient cannot be treated as successfully with Invisalign in our office as with braces. From mild cases of crooked teeth to much more advanced dental issues involving serious malocclusion, overbite, underbite, crossbite, and open bite, Invisalign effectively corrects a wide variety of dental problems. Whether your teeth are widely spaced, overly crowded, or somewhere in between, Invisalign is a great teeth-straightening option.
The most important part in determining if Invisalign is right for you is compliance. You must be committed to wearing your Invisalign trays approximately 20 to 22 hours out of the day in order for treatment to be effective.
Why choose Insoft & Hurst Orthodontics for your Invisalign treatment?
We are proud to be an Elite Preferred Invisalign Provider. This means that we are in the top one percent of doctors treating with Invisalign in North America. This is based off of experience and the number of Invisalign cases we have successfully treated. In fact, Dr. Insoft and Dr. Hurst have treated more Invisalign cases in the last 15 years than any other Invisalign providers in Pinellas and Manatee Counties!
Orthodontists like Drs. Insoft and Hurst have three years of additional training after dental school in the specialty of orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. While general dentists are great at restorative work, such as fillings and crowns, there is very little orthodontic training in dental school. We believe our patients deserve not only proficiency in managing tooth movement, but excellence.
